Joy, memory, time, skill, tradition, warmth -- quilts are all these things. This weekend Quilt for a Cause had its culminating auctions and raised over $120,000 for research on women's cancers. I had so much fun that everyone is getting a quilt for Christmas this year! I was impressed with how well planned everything was, and how many hands made quick work of everything. Perhaps because quilters are used to working together?
I am happy to say I had a small hand it in too, though I am not a quilter. I designed the website, which included the first photo gallery I have ever created.
